Eostre was pleased! SLPS honored and celebrated Ostara on Saturday, March 21, 2015 at 8pm. This Spring Equinox was special because of a solar eclipse, super moon and the equinox trifecta, all on one day. Lots of juice to pull down for the ritual! The altar was set, offerings of boiled eggs and wine. A sprig of plum, flowered with beautiful pinks delicates, and yellow daffodils adorned the Goddess. Sacred music was played in her honor and the Lord Herne. A simple yet powerful right, keeping the traditions alive.

SLPS had a great time at the University of Utah Vegas Night doing palm reading for students. SLPS was invited to read palms for two hours, 6-8pm on Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at the Student Union Building. These fun activities allow the members of SLPS to gain practice in those areas of divination and provide a free spiritual service for the students.

The members of SLPS gathered together to honor the full moon and mother goddess on Saturday, March 7, 2015. Each person comes seeking blessings and to be recharged by the power of the full moon. Small workings take place after grounding and cleansing each person. This full moon is named Sap moon since the sap in trees starts to come up and flow again. Offerings included pomegranate wine and lasagna (The Gods like to eat regular food too!).

SLPS enjoyed reading tarot and a few palms at the 14th Annual Belly Dance Spring Fest this past Saturday, March 7, 2015 at the Utah State Fairground Promontory building. Each year Thia puts on the Fest and encourages dance, cultural, and festivities for the belly dance community in Salt Lake City. Readings went first for $10, then for $5 as traffic was slow. The pace picked up after lunch as more folks came out for the Saturday afternoon and evening shows.
