The planning committee for Salt Lake Pagan Pride met at IHOP on Saturday, February 27, 2016 at 10 am to discuss the 2016 festival. Out of ten, three people showed: Debra Hurst, Jen Coates, and SLPS President Muad’Dib. Much progress was made in the details, including an extensive list was made for vendors, author signing suggestions, $10 tshirts for the festival, logo contest, entertainment selections, and the program layout.
The committee is seeking to grow the festival and make it as inclusive as possible, with not just Pagan vendors, but those who support the community and provide services (like the library and Planned Parenthood). This year’s festival is booked for the northeast quadrant of Liberty Park in downtown Salt Lake City.
