Well This is was our first official activity. Kassie Cressall from Logan even joined us, bringing the whiskey! She is in the process of starting a pagan student group at Utah State University in Logan and is getting some tips on how to do things. With 7 people joining us today, we are off to good numbers after getting started only 6 months ago! We went over to the Secretaries house on Saturday, April 1, 2010 for a beautiful Ostara ritual led by Muad’Dib giving honor to the Goddess Ostara herself for whose day it was! We divined our future with boiled Easter eggs, had a wonderful chicken salad and cake and topped it off with throwing wild flowers on the barren parts of the land!
Afterward was a full moon ritual. Everyone who came brought an item to be cleansed and recharged. Everyone left feeling recharged and renewed after pulling down the energy of the Full moon.
We hope to have many more such activities so everyone can get to see what pagans do!
See you all then
Muad’Dib
Blessings Be to Ye: we decorated with rabbit figurines & baskets of eggs golden wreaths star bursts a yellow Celtic type flag & candle lanterns using an angel figurine in yellow (could not find an Eostre/Ostasra statue) around our Celtic stone henge garden…yes we constructed an authentic replica stone circle consulting with Ivan Macbeth from Edinburgh & using Rob roy’s book “Stone Circles” as a guide. the henge is 20 ft in diameter outer circle 8ft diameter inner circle of upright stones with the center menhir standing 5ft9in outer stones from 4-5ft6in inner circle between 2-4ft; 20 stones in each circle with earth air fire water features at the cardinal points on a Polaris/North axis with outlier stones marking solstices & equinoxes & the 4 quarter fire festes we also have a stone fire center along our stream on the West of course & a Brigit’s well constructed. Next project is a Celtic round tower to house a bronze church bell cast in 1861(very large). trying to figure out how to send pictures on here or from email my address is irishohiobsd@gmail.com Thanks for all your posts although hard to see some pics so dark… Bradley SwiNDerman Dover.
