Thanks to all whom came to the Beltane celebrations on May 4, 2013 at 6pm. The God and Goddess united in love and spirit in the presence of SLPS members. The celebrations began with dancing, singing and drum beating welcome the wedding party to the circle. Lunar Oak Spirit played the God and Callista Dreamwalker the Goddess.
Each member took turns reading Beltane poetry, giving offerings, and watching the Great Rite performance. The wedding party exited to the throws of rice and treats in honor of their union. After the wedding party exited, a druid Beltane rite calling on Niwalen was performed by SLPS President and druid Muad’Dib. Niwalen rose from the Earth and blessed everyone.
Personal libations came before the close. Penis rolls and clit cakes were loving homemade by Lauren Holman. Each person enjoyed a taste of the God and Goddess! Feastings included ribs by Woman Between the Wolves, Enchiladas by Shy Fox and an organic homemade Green Man spice cake by Cheyanne Opheikens.
